Mary Rivera, who portrayed Ned Leeds' grandmother in Spider-Man: No Way Home, has reportedly died at the age of 82.
According to family members, who spoke with TMZ, the beloved actress previously suffered a stroke, which doctors warned was 'extremely serious,' leading to the decision to remove her from life support. Mary passed away on April 15 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Spider-Man actress is survived by her husband, their children, 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Mary's passing follows Marvel star Wai Ching Ho's death at 82 after suffering a stroke in July.

Mary's family told the outlet that she "lived a good life" and was "extremely proud" to have acted in the 2021 blockbuster hit after being encouraged by her loved ones to audition for the role

In one standout scene featuring the late actress, Tom Holland's Spider-Man is joined by the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield versions of the character, portaling Ned's grandma's living room in Queens. Speaking to Ned in unsubtitled Tagalog, she scolds the masked heroes and asks Andrew's Spider-Man to clean the cobwebs from the ceiling as her grandson translates.
