President Donald Trump boasted Sunday about winning another club championship trophy at his golf club in New Jersey, asserting that he won because he has ātalentā that his competitors donāt possess.
On Truth Social, the president posted a video of his āwinning shotā at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster that landed him the club championship trophy in the Super Senior and Senior categories.
āI won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, Iām given very little time to practice, because Iām focused on many other things. Itās called TALENT, and I have it, and they donāt!ā Trump wrote.
While the president is an avid golfer and often gloats about his skills on the course, some have accused him of cheating, which Trump denies.
According to a video posted online, Trump won the Super Senior Menās Club Championship, which is generally the category for men 65 years and older, as well as the Senior Menās Club Championship, which is typically for men 50 years and older.

Last year, the president won the same Senior Menās Club Championship tournament, which the White House later posted about.

Trump also won both Senior and Super Senior championships in 2023 and announced it in a similar Truth Social post: āFor some reason, I am just a good golfer/athlete - I have won many Club Championships, and it is always a great honor!ā
But years of cheating allegations, dating back to before Trumpās first term, have haunted the presidentās golf game.
In 2016, actor Samuel L. Jackson accused the president of cheating at golf. In 2018, LPGA player Suzann Pettersen was reported as saying the president ācheats like hell,ā though Pettersen later denied making the comments.
Sports writer Rick Reilly even wrote a book on Trumpās alleged cheating in 2019, titled āCommander in Cheat.ā
āAt Winged Foot, where Trump is a member, the caddies got so used to seeing him kick his ball back onto the fairway they came up with a nickname for him: Pele,ā Reilly wrote, referring to the Brazilian soccer star.

Last year, the cheating allegations were reignited after a video of Trump playing golf in Scotland went viral, appearing to show Trumpās caddy walking ahead of the president and dropping his ball closer to the fairway.
Earlier this year, the New York Times reported that the late Senator Lindsey Graham, a close ally of Trump, had insinuated Trump cheats at golf during a 2022 grand jury testimony.
āSome people say you may outdrive him, but youāre not going to outdrive his caddy. It is what it is.ā Graham said when asked whether the president cheats at golf.
