Tom Brady celebrated his 49th birthday with family and friends aboard a luxurious yacht, sharing highlights on Instagram

Tom Brady is cruising into a new chapter.

The NFL legend rang in his 49th birthday in a lavish way alongside family and friends aboard a luxurious yacht, he shared in an Instagram post on Friday, Aug. 7.

“2026 - Holiday-maxxing. That’s what we’re calling it now 🫡 …..,” he captioned the post.

Brady posted photos of himself swimming underwater, hanging with his kids, sitting on the yacht deck, posing alongside friends and more water-side fun for the big birthday.

His three kids feature prominently in the pictures. He shares son John “Jack” Edward Thomas, 18, with his ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, and two children with his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen — Benjamin Rein, 16, and Vivian Lake, 13.

The longtime New England Patriots quarterback added further context to the photos on his Instagram Stories.

“We’re not talking about school starting next week 😂,” he wrote over a photo of Vivian and Jack.

“Banana boat was not allowed during the playing days. Separated shoulder waiting to happen,” he wrote over a second shot of himself on a float.

“Three laps after a meal. Unlimited pasta hack 😆,” he wrote over a swimsuit-clad third.

Brady has been showing off his birthday celebrates all week, and also shared photos from the yacht on his actual birthday, Aug. 3.

“The 40’s farewell tour starts today 😜🎂🎉 It’s not the destination…it’s not the journey…it’s the company ❤️❤️❤️,” Brady captioned the Instagram post.
