During a segment where she was discussing things that have happened to her recently, Swift, 35, said, "getting engaged to the love of my life, getting all my music back. Those were two things that just might never have happened. They could have just never happened. It wasn’t like, “Oh, it's just a matter of time.”

Swift and Kelce announced that they were set to tie the knot on Tuesday, Aug, 26 with a sweet joint Instagram post captioned, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨."

Kelce proposed with a ring he designed with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry. The dazzling stone is an "old mine brilliant cut," which Swift showed off in a series of photos announcing the big news.

Though it was Kelce who made the first move with Swift, since then she's been open in her public displays of affection for the sporty star.

At the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2024, Swift gave a special shout-out to Kelce in her acceptance speech, saying, "Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic. So, I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I’ll always remember that."

And after Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC championship and earned their spot at the Super Bowl in January 2025, Swift joined him on the field and told him, "I love you. I'm so proud of you."

Meanwhile, during her appearance on New Heights on Aug. 13, Swift called her then-boyfriend a "vibe booster," adding that he was "so loyal."

The 14-time Grammy winner looked effortlessly elegant in a bold, burgundy velvet $1,695 David Koma mini dress for her appearance on Stephen Colbert. Swift paired the off-the-shoulder dress with a sparkling necklace and a pair of burgundy velvet pointed-toe heels.

The Dec. 10 episode of The Late Show marks Swift's first guest appearance on the series since 2021, which comes two days before the premiere of her new Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era.

The docuseries will follow the "development, impact, and inner-workings that created the phenomenon that was The Eras Tour" and "gives an intimate look at Taylor's life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world," according to a press release.

The first two episodes of the six-part docuseries will air on Dec. 12, with two new episodes releasing each week.

"The Life of a Showgirl" hitmaker will also release Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show on Disney+ on Dec. 12. The film is a live recording of Swift's final concert of her Eras Tour at BPC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada on Dec. 8, 2024.

The Final Show features Swift's full The Tortured Poets Department set, which was not included in her first film for the Eras Tour.

The docuseries and film come shortly after the singer-songwriter's 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, released on Oct. 3.
