The color is Offbeat Green SW 6706

Sherwin-Williams' "loneliest" color is getting a chance to shine thanks to a new campaign—and some help from LeBron James.

The paint company announced thatĀ Offbeat Green SW 6706Ā isĀ its "Loneliest Color" for 2026, as it is the brand's least-used tint.

Sherwin-Williams describes the color as "a vivid, citric lime green that reflects a growing desire for individuality."

As part of a campaign to spotlight the unique color, Sherwin-Williams has partnered with the LeBron James Family Foundation.

The organization, according to its website, helps inspire generational change for children and families in the athlete's hometown of Akron, Ohio.

Together, Sherwin-Williams and theĀ LeBron James Family FoundationĀ are taking part in the PROMISE Project, a home education center designed to support first-time homebuyers in the area.

The door of the center is painted with Offbeat Green SW 6706.

"In everything we do as a Foundation, we want to create opportunities and open doors so our kids and families know that nothing is beyond their reach," James, 41, said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE. "The Loneliest ColorĀ campaign brings that to life perfectly with Offbeat Green representing something overlooked that still has incredible potential."

"We believe in the limitless potential of all our families and want to support them on every step of their journey, which is why resources like the PROMISE Project with Sherwin-Williams are so important," continued the athlete. "It's all about helping people move forward with confidence."

Sue Wadden, Sherwin-Williams' director of color marketing, added that Offbeat Green SW 6706 "balances brightness with warmth."

"This year's Loneliest Color shows that even an unexpected choice can become something beautiful and approachable in the right setting. It's a powerful reminder that the most authentic spaces are the ones shaped by what feels right to you, not by what's popular," she further explained.

Sherwin-Williams and the LeBron James Family Foundation are currently hosting a sweepstakes for a chance to win a basketball signed by James, limited-edition ILTHY apparel and a $1,000 Sherwin-Williams gift card.

Customers who order an Offbeat Green SW 6706 complimentary color chip or purchase a Peel & Stick through their website will be entered in the contest.
