Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling were seen at their wedding church ahead of the big day for a reported rehearsal

They were joined by family members, including their daughters from previous marriages and Peter's sister, Zara Tindall

With the wedding to the NHS nurse, Peter will become the first of Queen Elizabeth's eight grandchildren to remarry

Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling were all smiles as they prepared to tie the knot.

One day ahead of their June 6 wedding, the couple and their family were seen gathering at All Saints Church in Kemble, a village in the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire, England, where the nuptials are set to take place.

The group dressed down for the gathering, which Hello! magazine reported was for the rehearsal dinner. Harriet, 45, put a casual spin on bridal white in wide-leg pants and a sweater with horizontal red stripes.

Peter's sister, Zara Tindall, was part of the crew, sporting jeans, a grey jacket and sunglasses outside the church.

All three of Peter and Harriet's daughters were also there, the trio all dressed in jeans and standing together at points. Peter, 48, has two daughters from his previous marriage to Autumn Kelly — Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14 — while Harriet is also mother to a teenage daughter, 13-year-old Georgina, from her marriage to Antonio St. John Sperling.

Georgina previously made her first public outing with the royals on Easter earlier this year. There, Savannah, Isla and Georgina were seen walking together out of the church service, coordinating for the occasion in blue ensembles.

With the wedding to the National Health Service nurse, Peter will become the first of Queen Elizabeth's eight grandchildren to remarry. Prince William, Prince Harry, Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are currently married, while the two youngest of the cousins — 22-year-old Lady Louise and 18-year-old James, Earl of Wessex — have not yet wed.

Peter will be the first member of his generation of the British royal family to remarry, but he won't be the first to step into the role of stepparent. Princess Beatrice became a stepmother upon her 2020 wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who had a son — Christopher Woolf, who goes by "Wolfie," now 10 — from a previous relationship.

Princess Beatrice told The London Standard in 2021 that she considers it a "great honor" to be Wolfie's stepmom. A source close to the couple also told PEOPLE in 2020 that Beatrice "is a wonderful and very hands-on stepmom" and embraced Wolfie "as part of her life from the outset."

Members of the British royal family are expected to attend the private ceremony on Saturday, with a friend of the couple describing the nuptials as an "intimate occasion," per Hello!magazine. It was previously reported that Prince Harry, the former Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were not among the invited guests.
