Real Housewives of Atlanta newcomer Pinky Cole is no stranger to drama.

“I got enough drama in my own life for a whole spinoff,” she said last week. “Have you been on the internet lately?”

She’s been in the press a lot in the past year. She filed for personal Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2026. Her Georgia home was seized by a property management company, though she won it back in court.

Pinky’s life may be full of drama, but on the outside you’d never know it. Outwardly she was one of the calmest cast members on the Season 17 premiere. She came into the show with peaceful intentions, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to disappear into the background.

“I’m always going to make myself seen when I’m in the presence of other people,” she told The Baltimore Banner. “I think that people can appreciate that. And for the ones that don’t, it’s really just a little bit of intimidation, I’m sure.”

The entrepreneur opened Slutty Vegan, which serves up plant-based burgers, in 2018. The business expanded quickly, and before she knew it, she had 14 locations across the country. At the time, she told The New Yorker she was going to be “be bigger than Oprah.”

However, it was too much too soon. Facing $20 million in debt, she ultimately lost her business to creditors. Though she was able to buy back the name and some locations, Pinky stepped down as CEO in 2025.

When she first dipped her toe into the RHOA wading pool, she seemed to be an observer. For now, she left the bickering to the other women, including Porsha Williams and Kelli Ferrell.

But don’t expect Pinky to be a wallflower forever. Once she feels comfortable, she plans to show the “highs and lows of entrepreneurship,” including her bankruptcy.

“What makes me tick — they’re really going to get that,” she said. “I’ve never exposed myself in that kind of way before.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
