Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, reportedly had different feelings when they left the UK after their recent reunion with King Charles at Highgrove House in England. The monarch and his wife, Queen Camilla, hosted the Sussex couple there. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, also joined their parents for the private family reunion, which marked their first meeting with their grandfather, the King, in four years.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have different views over their recent reunion with King Charles and Queen Camilla in the UK. As reported by RadarOnline, a source said the Duke of Sussex “came away from the visit believing there is finally an opportunity to keep moving the relationship in the right direction.” The person continued that, however, the Duchess of Sussex’s “experience was much more complicated.”

In the meantime, the insider said to the news outlet that Meghan Markle “appreciated the chance to see family again.” The person then claimed, “Yet she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was still viewed as someone on the outside looking in.”

The insider further went on to explain, “From her perspective, there is only so much effort one person can make.” The person continued, “Before expecting it to be matched by the other side.”

Meanwhile, per the news outlet, another source also told them that Prince Harry feels “convinced that, despite the frustrations and disappointments they both experienced during the visit.” The person continued, “It would be a mistake to let this opportunity slip away.”

The source then explained, “He understands exactly why Meghan came home feeling hurt and emotionally exhausted.” The person added, “And he isn’t dismissing those feelings.” The source further said, “But he believes the meeting was still an important first step.”

In the meantime, the insider also claimed that Prince Harry “genuinely believes that if both sides continue making the effort.” The person continued, “Trust can slowly be rebuilt.” The insider added, “Even if the process takes far longer than either of them would like.”

However, according to another insider, Meghan Markle believes that this reunion showed “just how much work remained.” “Before relationships within the family could genuinely recover,” the insider also added.
