New mom Aubrey Plaza returns to red carpet in NYC

Until this week, new mom and Delaware star Aubrey Plaza had kept a very low profile since reportedly giving birth to her first child, a girl, in July.

But Plaza, 42, was glowing as she returned to familiar territory, the red carpet, on Sept. 30 in New York City.

The Wilmington native and Ursuline grad wore a black suit with skirt, sheer black top and bra as she turned up the glam for the premiere of the new Netflix series "East of Eden,'' which features partner Chris Abbott.

It was the second time Plaza has been spotted out supporting Abbott since the two welcomed their new daughter. The Wilmington Drama League alum was seen holding the baby in New York City on Aug. .9, which was Chris Abbott's last performance of the Broadway revival "Death of a Salesman," as first reported by TMZ.

The couple has not publicly revealed the baby's name.

Voted Delaware's most famous person by our readers, Plaza fashionably showed off her baby bump earlier this year, since news of the pregancy was first announced by People magazine in April.

Plaza and Abbott met while working together. The actors collaborated on "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea'' off-Broadway, and in the 2020 comedic thriller "Black Bear.''
