Country music star Morgan Wallen, 33, canceled a concert at the last minute on Saturday, June 5, issuing an apology to fans via Instagram just hours before the scheduled performance at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
The decision was made in the interest of fan safety due to hazardous weather conditions. Wallen wrote, "After talking with local officials and my team, there is no choice but to cancel tonight's show due to severe adverse weather conditions expected throughout the rest of the day and night. Safety for my fans and crew is the highest priority. Refunds available at point of purchase."
The cancellation comes just days after footage emerged of the singer experiencing an on-stage meltdown, during which he flipped over a piano.

Wallen is currently touring as part of his Still The Problem Tour. He had also performed in Pittsburgh on Friday, sharing the stage with WWE star and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle.
The piano incident occurred during Wallen's performance at Empower Field at Mile High in Colorado on Friday, May 28, when the instrument appeared to stop working mid-performance. Unable to hear the piano, Wallen left it behind and performed the remainder of the song a cappella before returning to push the instrument onto its side, knocking it over.

Fan-captured footage shows the musician becoming increasingly frustrated before the episode unfolded. "While playing 'sand in my boots,' Morgan gets off the piano cause it isn't [working] as it should," according to a TikTok video caption documenting the moment.

"He finishes acapella then proceeds to push the piano over, breaking it!" This onstage episode comes as the artist's past controversies resurfaced with the launch of his Still The Problem tour.
Morgan faced arrest in 2024 following an incident where he threw a chair from a Nashville, Tennessee, rooftop bar, later entering guilty pleas to two misdemeanor counts.
A prior tour stop in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, sparked debate when opener Ella Langley joined him onstage for their recent duet, I Can't Love You Anymore, a collaboration that drew criticism from some fans on political grounds.
"Now that she's collabing with Morgan Wallen we can assume she's MAGA so wdc [what the crap]," one X user wrote. "She's friends with and collabing with Morgan Wallen. A known racist and maga," another commented, while a third added, "Hitler and Stalin announce collab."
The piano incident represents just one of several volatile onstage moments involving Morgan.
During a March discussion with Billboard News, singer Nate Smith admitted he once threw a drink in Morgan's face during a shared performance, describing it as a joke that didn't land. Nate said Morgan "should have kicked me off the tour," but the pair later laughed it off over a FaceTime call.
