San Francisco 49ers WR Mike Evans (ribs) is hopeful of playing in Week 4's game versus the Denver Broncos. He is expected to wear a built-in compression shirt with padding if he is declared active for the game. Evans said he has played through a similar injury in the past, although it was "brutal" to deal with.

Why It Matters: Evans practiced in a limited fashion Friday, Oct. 2, after missing the Niners' first two practice sessions of the week, and is officially listed as questionable on the injury report. He has two touchdowns in three games this season and can be viewed as a WR2 or WR3 option in most fantasy leagues, even though he won't be at 100 percent. If Evans is held out of action, WR Deebo Samuel and TE George Kittle could see additional targets in Week 4.
