Meghan Markle thoroughly enjoyed her 45th birthday with her family, as seen on Instagram.
The Duchess of Sussex shared two photos of herself joyfully leaping into a swimming pool while holding a bouquet of balloons in honor of her birthday. In another video, the Duchess is seen dancing barefoot around the kitchen while wearing a sparkling "Happy Birthday" tiara. Donning a white T-shirt with the words "It's Giving Mrs" and matching pants, Meghan is seen parading and laughing around her birthday balloons as Prince Harry captured the celebration on camera. The royal could be heard laughing in the background and remarking, "Oh dear."
Needless to say, the internet remained divided about Meghan's birthday posts. While some fans enjoyed the posts, others criticized Meghan's behavior and her decision to share personal moments online. Some even accused her of copying Victoria Beckham.

Body language expert Darren Stanton, however, believes the videos are a deliberate attempt to present the couple as relatable and authentic.
Speaking to Betfair Casino, the expert explains that the candid videos, showcasing Meghan dancing in the kitchen and walking barefoot, "paint a very different picture" from the formal image traditionally associated with the Royal Family.

Darren stated that the footage highlights Harry and Meghan's playful dynamic, arguing that the couple is trying to show that they are "just like us" by sharing ordinary moments that many people can identify with.
"They're sharing moments that you would never, ever have seen from other members of the Royal Family, especially in the past. You do wonder what Queen Elizabeth would have made of it all - that would have been quite interesting," the expert said.

"I think the reason they're posting these kinds of stories is to reconnect with people. This is their way of showing they are just like us. They're a couple in love who can be playful, have fun, and not take themselves too seriously."
"Ultimately, these posts are giving people an insight into what they're like together behind the scenes. They're showing that royals don't have to be serious all the time and that they have a fun, light-hearted side to their personalities," Darren added.
Users online critiqued a reposted video of Meghan dancing in her kitchen. Someone wrote, "What 45 year old needs to put this on social media. It's too weird."
While someone else said, "Nobody loves Meghan as much as Meghan loves Meghan."
And a third person chimed in, "I think if she put less out on social media and in magazines people would respect her more. She needs to just live her life more out of the public eye and just concentrate on her family."
Meanwhile, some users pointed out how Meghan's dance moves allegedly bear striking resemblance to those of Lady Beckham during her family's Canadian vacation in 2024.
One user compiled a side-by-side comparison video of both clips, prompting fans to flood the comments section with their opinions.
The user, @fashionistaera, posted on X, "Not only did Meghan happily copy Diana's jumping-into-the-water pose with jewelry, but now she's happily copying the Beckhams' dance."
