Kylie Kelce shared the advice she gives her daughters on dealing with ā€œmean girlsā€ in the latest episode of her podcast, ā€œNot Gonna Lie.ā€ She expressed hope that it would prevent her own daughters from becoming a ā€œmean girlā€ and also keep them away from such girls.

Kylie Kelce hopes her advice to daughters on ā€˜mean girls’ serves 2 purposes

Kylie Kelce shares four daughters with husband Jason Kelce: Wyatt, 6; Elliotte, 5; Bennett, 3; and Finnley, 1. She often shares glimpses of her own life as a mother of four, from advice about what not to ask postpartum women to why she is avoiding Botox for her daughters. In the new episode, she answered a fan’s question about the advice she has for her daughters regarding ā€œmean girls.ā€

Leading by example, Kelce said, ā€œThere’s one thing I know for certain: I have looked at my 6-year-old child when she is not being kind to her sisters, and I have explained to her that, if you are going to be a mean girl, you will not have friends. Because people will not want to be friends with the mean girl.ā€

ā€œI hope that spills into the idea that they would then not want to be friends with a mean girl. I think it’s important to give the example of nice play or nice communication so that your kids acknowledge and recognize what is nice play and what is good communication,ā€ she added.

The 34-year-old further said she hoped that, by emphasizing kindness and teaching them to treat others the way they wanted to be treated, her kids ā€œwould lean away from mean girls.ā€ Girl moms agreed with her in the comment section.

Some noted that ā€œmean girlsā€ could come from ā€œmean moms,ā€ so it was best to distance oneself from such moms. Another individual suggested reading the book, ā€œQueen Bees and Wannabes,ā€ which also inspired the movie, ā€œMean Girls.ā€
