Former Duke guard Jared McCain has made headlines recently, agreeing to partner with a famous dating app, Hinge. However, instead of promoting romance, McCain is actually advocating for what makes Duke basketball so special, brotherhood. McCain and his best friend Nate Thai, who also serves as the cameraman for McCain's NBA vlogs, are promoting friendship with Hinge.
McCain provided more details to Clemente Almanza of USA Today's Thunder Wire.
"Me and Nate, we troll all the time," he said. "But we both know if we need to have a serious conversation, we’ll get serious and we can be vulnerable with each other.

"We’ll have a serious conversation, and then we’ll say a joke right after. That’s just what friends are for. They can help you be a better version of yourself."
An incredibly fun-loving and personable guy, McCain has made plenty of friends with his new Oklahoma City teammates following a midseason trade from the Philadelphia 76ers last February. His on-court performance has also stepped up with increased opportunities, leading the Thunder off the bench throughout the playoffs. Now, entering his first full season in Oklahoma City, Duke fans are eager to see how high their former Blue Devil can ascend.
