The President of the United States has caused alarm as people think his hands are "rotting", with some going as far as comparing their image to "stuffed sausages".
Donald Trump made a public appearance on Monday (August 3), and onlookers couldn't help but glare at his hands as they thought they looked particularly troubling. Indeed, dozens have since taken to X to share their concerns after new images of the President emerged this week, and once again people were focused on his appearance as they thought his hands looked swollen, bruised and just not quite right, and the situation sparked a lot of conversation.
It comes after the President recently sparked health concerns. This came after it was reported he appeared to be struggling to hear recently.

One image appeared on social media, alongside the caption: "Trump's hands appear to be rotting more than usual today." Naturally, the post sparked a lot of debate.
In the photo, you'll notice that Trump's hands are pictured clasped together, with some claiming they looked a little puffy. Others also said they could spot bruising too.
One said: "Them looks swollen. That paint doesn't match his skin tone. What is even going on with that top thumb?"

Another added: "They look like lacquered stuffed sausages." A third replied: "Short, fat little fingers, and little hands."
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "He also looks particularly swollen today. Face, neck, hands."
One more also chimed in with: "Must have been shaking lots of hands at the country club this weekend." However, some people didn't think they looked "that bad", and said there may be reasons for their appearance.
Someone else said: "Some people have hand bruising because of sun damage, and they work with their hands. They may be taking aspirin too."
One more also noted: "I’m only 71 and I get those bruises. I don’t like Trump, but those bruises are from sun damage."
In the past, a lot of speculation has grown over the image of Trump's right hand. People began talking about it so much that the White House previously addressed the matter.
At the time, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt attributed the bruising to handshaking. The discoloration on the 80-year-old's hand was first noticed several weeks after the November 2024 presidential election.
It's not the first time Trump has caught attention recently either. Previously, it was reported he was labeled "gross" following his actions at Lindsey Graham's funeral.
