Days of our Lives starts a new week with a big decision from Stephanie. According to spoilers for Monday, August 10, 2026, Stephanie is ready to be selfless, plus Alex needs some things put in perspective.

When Stephanie (Abigail Klein) told Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) no to moving in with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) on Friday, it looks like she meant that she would move out so that Alex can move Joy in. Stephanie has a talk with Alex and tells him her plans, before then telling Jada (Elia Cantu).

Will Jada get her roommate back? Stephanie heads across the hall with a bag, so she doesn't appear to be going very far. Considering that was Stephanie's apartment first, it would make sense that she would move back in, at least temporarily.

She could also keep an eye on what is going on between Joy and her husband. Joy's condition might be real, but that does not mean she hasn't been angling to get Alex all to herself for months. How will Alex feel about Stephanie's decision? And how will Jada feel? Shawn (Brandon Beemer) has been living there and he and Jada have grown awfully close. Will Stephanie cramp her cousin's style?

When Chanel (Raven Bowens) is taking a stroll through Horton Town Square with Trey, they run into Alex, who is taking a stroll with Kelsey. The two young parents who were once lovers and co-stars catch up. When Chanel hears what's been going on with Stephanie and Joy, she offers Alex her own perspective on things.

She might feel the same way Stephanie does, especially since Joy had a thing with Johnny (Carson Boatman) at one time. Perhaps it would do Alex some good to listen to Chanel, who always has words of wisdom.

At home, Chanel and Paulina (Jackee Harry) spend some bonding time with a very active Trey while Johnny tries to hide a secret. He is in way too deep with DiMera again and worries it could destroy his family. Plus, the guilt is getting the best of him. How long will Johnny be able to keep this up before it all gets to be too much?
