It sounds like nearly everyone else loved Bad Bunny’s halftime show at the Super Bowl. But Donald Trump blasted the amazing performance on his Truth Social account, calling it one of the worst ever. Trump didn’t think it reflected the greatness of America or the standards of success, creativity or excellence.
Many other Americans, though, didn’t see it the same way, calling it one of the best performances at the half they’d ever seen. The ratings would seem to agree with those people.
Bad Bunny reportedly drew 135.4 million viewers for his Super Bowl Halftime Show

The President can say what he wants about Bad Bunny’s show, but the numbers tell a different story. According to NBC, an estimated 135.4 million watched the Puerto Ricans’ halftime extravaganza, making it the most-watched ever. It surpasses Kendrick Lamar’s record last year of 133.5 million.
While Bad Bunny was the main attraction at the half their were other noteworthy appearances throughout. Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga were among the celebrities who took part in the big show.
The halftime event seemed to mark the full arrival of Latin music on one of the most traditionally American stages in sports. Much of the show was performed in Spanish, expanding the NFL’s audience and viewership across more countries. It seemingly attracted viewers who wouldn’t otherwise watch American football.
Less than a week before the Super Bowl, NFL players were polled about their thoughts on Bad Bunny headlining the halftime event. Surprisingly, 41.4% of those asked disapproved of the selection. Some even admitted they hadn’t even heard of the man dubbed the King of Latin Trap. He won two Grammy Awards earlier this month, including Album of the Year for Debi Tirar Más Fotos.
