All My Children Revival Movie Just Tapped 2 Huge Soap Talents

Two soap talents have reportedly been hired as writers for the All My Children revival movie. This movie project is undertaken by  Mark Consuelos and his wife, Kelly Ripa, who met on this popular show’s set. The recently recruited writers have worked with long-running and famous soap operas, such as General Hospital and The Young and the Restless.

Ron Carlivati and Jamey Giddens to write All My Children revival movie

Ron Carlivati and Jamey Giddens have been added to the roster to write the All My Children revival movie. Both took to their social media accounts to share this happy news with fans. Carlivati wrote in his story, “Excited to confirm that @jameygiddens and I are writing the first of two ‘All My Children’ movies, coming soon to @lifetimetv!” He is famously known for working as head writer at One Life to Live,  General Hospital, and Days of Our Lives. He is currently the breakdown writer for Beyond The Gates. At present, he holds two Daytime Emmy Awards and two Writers Guild of America Awards.

Giddens also shared a separate post with a screenshot of the news about the new writers for All My Children. He wrote in the caption, “I’ve been booked and busy in 2026. Before I received the life-changing offer to co-head write @youngandrestlesscbs, Andrew Stearn (@redcoatroad), the @agnesnixonamc estate, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos tapped @carlivatiron and me to write the first of two planned All My Children reunion movies for @lifetimetv! God is good. All. The. Time. #AllMyChildren.” Before being a writer at Beyond the Gates and Days of Our Lives, he also worked with The Young and the Restless. He has won three Writers Guild of America Awards.

In a recent conversation with the Los Angeles Times, Consuelos revealed the personal significance of this project for him and his wife, Ripa. “All My Children gave me my family. I met my wife there. It gave me my start in the business and gave us so much. It would be a dream to be able to give back,” he explained.
